The Mazda3 can be considered as a hybrid, not that it runs on an electric engine, but apparently, Volvo built the body for the car as well as the chassis, for ultimate safety. On the other hand, the car is powered by a 148 horsepower 2.0-liter engine. It comes with a standard 5-speed manual transmission as well as 4-speed automatic.
