BMW has disclosed their plans to introduce the all new 2010 BMW 5 Series Gran Turismo. Personally, I think the car design looks kind of awkward, with the hatchback of a 1 series while the front resembles the 7 series. Of course, there are several variants for the 5 Series Gran Turismo. The first is the 306 horsepower, 3.0-liter 535i Gran Turismo. And the second is the 407 horsepower, 4.4-liter V8 good 550i Gran Turismo. There’s even a smaller 245 horsepower, 3.0-liter 530d Gran Turismo which runs on an I6 diesel powerplant. On the other hand, you can expect an eight-speed automatic gearbox which was conveniently borrowed from the 760i luxury sedan. Performance wise, the 535i GT clocks 6.3 seconds for 0-62 mph, while the 550i GT did better with 5.5 seconds and lastly the 530d GT clocked 6.9 seconds. Of course BMW has made plans to launch the 550i first with a price tag of $70,000. Take a look at the 2010 BMW 5 Series Gran Turismo: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Comments (1)

The engine is powerful but I still prefer the design of current 5 series.
